Slow, the Way We Learn
I hold onto things by / their rhythms: phone numbers, changing of / the seasons, your breath in the moments between / waking and sleep. This poem can be seen as a companion piece with "To Say Something of Weightlessness," given that they both connect scenes of childhood and adulthood. Coicidentally, they were both accepted for publication and published on the same day! You can read "Slow, the Way We Learn" in Q&A Queer Zine here.
